Despite all the activity we have seen with FinTech, as far as I can tell there is yet to emerge a business model which fundamentally changes the landscape of financial services. I don’t think change will come with one or more apps and I don’t think change will come from the FinTech sector.
The more promising technology will come from the collection of a projects emerging in the Decentralised Finance (DeFi) sector, it is these projects that will bring significant change to both existing and FinTech financial services business models.
