There were 2-3 very interesting sessions at Consensus on the topic of privacy.
The Tongue-Tying curse from Harry Potter is the name of privacy project being worked on by a number of people, including Andrew Poelstra who in this panel discussion gave the US Treasury representative, Anne Wallwork some cause for concern.
This recording of the session is 37 minutes long but very worth the time. There is a good discussion about the difference between privacy and anonimity at the 34 minute mark and at 36 mins Andrew seems to correct the US Treasury’s representative’s understanding of privacy and Bitcoin.
