Blockchain Education

In this post my two great passions come together.
For 15 years I have been Chairman of a not-for-profit called The Mandalay Projects, our mission statement is to prevent the trafficking of children.
This week, the World Identity Network (WIN) teamed up with the United Nations to work on providing blockchain supported identity solutions to the many thousands of children who have no formal identification documents.
A UN spokesperson advised that “We’re particularly excited about this innovative pilot initiative, since child trafficking is one of the worst examples of crimes against humanity. Leveraging blockchain technology for the social good is something that the international community is striving for and we’re delighted to partner with WIN on this critical initiative.”
